Vehicle Emissions and Energy Economy Labelling from 1 January 2024
The Clean Car Discount (CCD) scheme is ending on 31 December 2023. Vehicles registered from 1 January 2024 will no longer be subject to a fee or eligible for a rebate.
Once the CCD scheme ends, CCD information is not permitted to be displayed on the Vehicle Emissions and Energy Economy Label (VEEEL) or for online vehicle sales listings.
New labelling regulations come into force on 1 January 2024 and a new version of the VEEEL that does not display CCD information will be introduced. The new label continues with the same familiar design, however, CCD fee/rebate and related information has been deleted.
From 1 January 2024, vehicle yard stock is required to display the new label and online sales listings must not display CCD information.
