Upcoming release of new Motor Vehicle Traders register
The Motor Vehicle Traders online register will undergo maintenance from 5pm 17 October 2024, in anticipation of the release of our new portal on 21 October 2024.
The new Motor Vehicle Traders Register portal will be available from Monday 21 October 2024. This will replace our existing register and online services platform.
In order for this release to take place, the current Motor Vehicle Traders register and online system will undergo scheduled maintenance from 5pm Thursday, 17 October 2024 until Monday, 21 October 2024.
During this period, the Motor Vehicle Traders register and online system will not be available to users. This means you will not be able to view the public register, apply for new registrations, or renew existing registrations within these dates.
Please ensure you complete any necessary tasks outside of these dates. If your Motor Vehicle Trader registration is due to expire in October 2024, we encourage you to renew your registration before 17 October 2024.
You should consider starting your renewal as early as possible, especially if your company has had any changes in its directors or management. We recommend that you submit your renewal at least 5 working days prior to your expiry date to allow for processing and approval.
We will be unable to assist motor vehicle traders with key tasks during this scheduled maintenance period. However, we will continue to answer general enquiries.
