Reminder: Clean Car Standard CO2 targets and fees are changing
From 1 January 2025, the annual Clean Car Standard (CCS) CO2 targets and the rates for exceeding targets are changing.

For 2024 charges to be applied, vehicles must be accepted or paid in your Clean Car Standard account by 31 December 2024. 2025 fees will apply from 1 January 2025 for vehicles that are border inspected and entry certified but not accepted. 2024 charges won’t be applied retrospectively from 1 January 2025.
